Hi! My name is Eva and I’m a fourth year food science major and Spanish minor. I recently became the Spanish Club president because I love the community we’ve created to practice Spanish together. I originally joined the club to have a place to practice Spanish while I wasn’t taking any classes in it, and have found a great group of friends. One of my favorite parts of the club is when we have cooking events, because I love to cook and bake (and eat)!

I'm Esther, a fourth-year biochemistry student and the Spanish Club treasurer. I keep track of the money and help plan weekly meetings and events.Â
Coming to Cal Poly, I missed the Spanish speaking community I had built before, so I looked for a place to speak Spanish. Spanish club was the perfect place, giving space to practice but also to build friendships and community.
Outside of club, I love everything outdoors, running, hiking, camping, backpacking and more. I love to cook and explore new cuisines, as you will see in our cooking events. I also love to read and welcome a good book recommendation. I may also have some recommendation for you if you ask!

Hello! my name is Stephanie. I manage the website, the cal poly now account, and the email list. I love to have the opportunity to practice my Spanish weekly—especially during the quarters I don't take Spanish courses. I have made such good friends through the club and I'm always excited to make more.
I am a fourth-year majoring in English and minoring in Linguistics and Spanish. I hope to get my TESOL certificate and live in a Spanish-speaking country post-graduation.
I also love video games, baking, and surfing!
